If this is true then, for once, QPR have managed to have some foresight and are planning for the future. Getting Hoddle in now would be fantastic for the academy (and his name alone would attract kids that would otherwise go elsewhere) and as a coach he has the experience to guide it in the right direction.
It also makes perfect sense for him to be groomed as Harry’s successor as we are adopting a style of play that he knows inside out. What odds on Harry retiring at the end of this season?
