Eriksen and Dembele ruled out of Champions League clash
Christian Eriksen is out of Tottenham’s Champions League group match against Apoel Nicosia, having not travelled due to illness.
Mousa Dembele is also absent after picking up an ankle knock against Barnsley in the Carabao Cup last week, leaving Spurs with a depleted squad to choose from.
Jan Vertonghen is suspended having been sent off in the dying moments of their opening victory against Borussia Dortmund at Wembley, while Dele Alli is serving the second of a three-match Champions League suspension carried over from last season.
Victor Wanyama (knee), Danny Rose (knee) and Erik Lamela (hip) all remain absent.
