Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino was not troubled by his side’s lack of a cutting edge after they were held to a 1-1 draw by West Ham at Wembley.

Spurs amassed 31 shots at goal to the Hammers’ three, missing their chance to close the gap to fourth-placed Liverpool.

Pochettino said: “I am not concerned. It was only one goal but it was an amazing goal from distance.

“You can do everything to win – create, dominate the game – and sometimes it happens that you push and force and create chances and it’s impossible to score.

“Sometimes you need some luck to open the game. We need to accept that frustration and be happy with a point.”

Heung-Min Son rescued Spurs with an equaliser seven minutes from time – the fifth game in a row he has found the net at Wembley.

West Ham, who were on the back foot for most of the game, had taken the lead 13 minutes earlier with a stunning strike from midfielder Pedro Obiang.
