Warnock jokes about abuse from Leeds United fans

Neil Warnock joked about the abuse he received from Leeds fans during QPR’s 1-0 win at Loftus Road.

The Rangers interim boss spent 14 months as manager of the Yorkshire club, who were beaten by Charlie Austin’s second-half header.

Warnock said: “It is a special place, Loftus Road. When it gets going like the last 20 minutes it’s a fabulous arena.

“It was a good atmosphere and their fans made it that way too – even though I thought they should have been warned for saying nasty things about me. They should have got a yellow card.”
