Fans on Twitter react to Palace’s Hogan enquiry

West Ham fans on Twitter have been reacting to the news that Crystal Palace have made an enquiry about Brentford striker Scott Hogan.
The Hammers have spent much of January discussing a potential deal for Hogan, but they have yet to match the Bees’ valuation of their top scorer.
Palace, managed by former West Ham boss Sam Allardyce, have indicated they might be interested in a pre-deadline deal – and some Irons fans are not happy.
So Allardyce wants Hogan at Palace? Now I really want us to get him……

Would be gutted if Palace get Hogan. Just like Fat Sam to step in last minute. #COYI

West Ham need to wrap Scott Hogan up ASAP or risk missing out on him.

Bloody typical West Ham. Lose out on Scott Hogan to Crystal Palace. Should’ve done the deal.

Palace fans, meanwhile, gave a mixed response to their club’s interest in Hogan – some keen, others less so.
£15 million for Hogan. We already have 3 better strikers and a could spend it on someone much better. #CPFC

Hogan surely better off the bench than Campbell young & something to prove, good to cover Wickham’s injury too still need a CDM #cpfc

As much as I like Hogan as a player, he would be very similar to Gayle who was deemed not good enough #cpfc

A move for Scott Hogan would be very productive give these guys a chance at the top level #cpfc

We look busy, but I hope it’s not rash or panic buying, is Scott Hogan good enough?
