Transfer gossip: Villa tipped to make Remy move, Italian clubs linked with Blues duo
A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea as the January window approaches….
Aston Villa boss Remi Garde reportedly wants to sign Chelsea striker Loic Remy on loan.
A number of today’s newspapers, including the Daily Mirror, say Garde wants Remy, 28, to join the Premier League’s bottom club to try to help them stay in the top flight.
Both men were at Lyon earlier in their careers and Garde is said to be trying to use his contacts to lure Remy to Villa Park.

Meanwhile, Cesc Fabregas has been linked with a potential move to Italy.
A report in the Italian sports publication Corriere dello Sport, subsequently picked up by the Daily Mail, suggested that Inter Milan and Juventus are both interested in the Blues midfielder.
There are also reports in Italy that Roma are keen to sign Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma.
