‘That summed up Chelsea’ – Terry

John Terry described Chelsea’s Champions League triumph against Napoli as one of the club’s great European nights.

The Blues overturned a 3-1 deficit from the first leg, with Branislav Ivanovic’s extra-time goal sending them into the quarter-finals.

Skipper Terry told ITV: “That could top them all. The lads put in a great display – really solid and resilient.

“That’s what we’re all about – that desire, that togetherness, summed up Chelsea.”

And looking ahead to the next round, midfielder Frank Lampard declared: “If we play with that ability and desire, we’ll take on anyone.”
