Striker Falcao says Chelsea move ‘does not seem possible’

Radamel Falcao has told Sky Italia he doubts he will end up playing under Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.

The Colombian striker was heavily linked with the Blues prior to his move to Monaco and Mourinho’s return to Stamford Bridge last summer.

And there have since been reports that Falcao is unhappy in Monte Carlo and could yet move to Chelsea.

“There has been a lot of speculation about European clubs interested in me. I don’t think about that,” he said.

“Would I like to play with Mourinho? I’d never considered it. As of today it does not seem possible, as we are on very different paths and I have a five-year contract with Monaco.

“But Mourinho is a coach with a fantastic career. Nobody can deny his capabilities.”
