Stoke manager Pulis does not deserve criticism, insists Redknapp
QPR manager Harry Redknapp insists Tony Pulis does not deserve criticism despite Stoke City’s dismal form.
Pulis was signed by Redknapp as a player for Bournemouth and was added to the coaching staff there before succeeding him as Cherries boss.
The pair remain friends and City manager Pulis takes his team to Loftus Road this weekend following a terrible run that has seen the Potters slip into relegation trouble.
But Redknapp said: “He has done a great job there. He took them to another level.
“They established themselves as a mid-table club. They’re a good club, a well run club with a good manager.
“I’m sure Tony’s finding out at the moment who his friends are. People soon desert you at times like that.”
