Sale of Hazard a hazard to Chelsea’s Europa future

The rumours that Chelsea are going to be selling of Hazard to Real Madrid soon have been going around for a while now. The confirmation of the rumours did not come recently, but it did come with a big impact on the club and their fans. Many have been feeling rather despondent, some even fearing that the fact that Hazard is being sold off to Real Madrid might have a terrible result on the future of the club. The predictions are all over the place and the fears are really shaking the paranoia of the fans awake, with some mighty tips being dropped that the future of the Europa final might be under hazard if the deal goes through soon.

The deal is official

Recent announcements by the club officials have made it clear that the sale deal will be made official and the details will be made public on May 12th, which is coming much sooner than everyone expected. There were fears going around for a while that the team will be losing, or getting rid of, their best player before the Europa semi-finals and the finals are over, but these fears were dispelled yesterday The leaders of the club mentioned that the only way that the deal will be going through sooner, rather than later, is if the Blues do not end up making it to the Finals. According to them, Hazard will be staying on with the team in case the team makes it to the finals.

The transfer, resulting from Zinedine Zidane wanting Hazard on his team, was under suspicion for a long time. Fans were not willing to believe the transfer was going to happen, and with Zizou leaving and coming back a number of times, some were excited to not have Hazard leave. But the choice has been made, both by Zidane and by Hazard and now the club has to comply with the choice of their best player as well.

The good and the bad news and predictions

One thing is guaranteed at least – Hazard will be finishing the championship with Chelsea, which is what the fans and the club were hoping for. Otherwise, there would be too much danger to the club, as many fans doubted the ability of the team to hold their own in the finals without their best player.

Still, there are some that believe even the simple news of Hazard leaving might have an adverse effect on the performance of the team. Some are expecting the news to harm the morale of the team and cause them to surrender even before finishing the semi-finals, a tragic end to an interesting run this year around. While the fears seem to be justified, at least sort of, hopes remain high that the team will be able to rally and give their best and one of the fan favorite players a chance to have a successful and impressive end to the end of his Chelsea run.

While the hopes remain high, the final result of the deal is yet to be seen. The final announcement will be made on May 12th. But Chelsea fans should be prepared to say goodbye to one of the favourite Blue players of the past few years, as the deal is now unavoidable.
