Boss salutes players after Swans romp

Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers hailed his players after their superb 3-0 victory at Fulham.

The result followed the Welsh team’s win against Manchester City and further enhanced their growing reputation.

Rodgers declared: “Fulham are a very dangerous side but over the course of the game we were absolutely phenomenal. It’s a very proud day for us all – players, supporters and the management team.

“This was our biggest game of the season, purely on the back of the result and performance against Manchester City. We don’t want to be a side that just play against favourites.”
