Resounding wins for Higgins and Toms
Alan Higgins extended his unbeaten record by easily winning his first 10-round contest, beating Jason Ball on points at York Hall.
The Kilburn middleweight, 25, dominated the fight and won 99-92 on the referee’s scorecard, taking his record to 7-0.
It was his second victory against Ball, having beaten him on points in a six-rounder last year.

There was also a win at the Bethnal Green venue for Northolt’s Ryan Toms.
The two-time former southern area light-middleweight champion, 32 comfortably beat Dee Mitchell on points.
It improved Toms’ record to 13-6-1 and kept alive his hopes of a possible shot at the British title.
Success for Higgins and Toms came 24 hours after unbeaten local fighters Mitchell Smith and Gary Corcoran also won at York Hall.
