Harry Redknapp has tipped Moussa Sissoko to make a major impact at Newcastle.
The midfielder recently moved from Toulouse to St James’ Park in what Redknapp believes will turn out to be an excellent signing by the Magpies.
Redknapp was interested in Sissoko while Tottenham boss and made an enquiry about him after taking charge at QPR.
“Sissoko’s a fantastic signing. I’d liked to have got him but Newcastle have absolutely nicked him,” he said.
“The figures were very high but it still worked out cheap as there was no transfer fee. But he’s a good signing and I think Newcastle will do well with the players they have signed.
“He’s a real powerhouse and will be a really good player in England.”

joseppie123, what a catchphrase, i am sorry i am gonna use that…indian by birth, geordie by the the grace of God…does it sound just as good. for 15 years now, i am following the toons and without being biased i can say it is the most loved club with the most loyal fan base, and can only think of the Kop on similar lines. Howay the lads!

Dear me Johnathon.
You’ve had the lickings of a dog there my son !!! You should perhaps think twice before opening your naive mouth. Tyneside and Northumberland are the Jewel in the Crown of the UK, unlike the aptly named “smoke”.
I’m sure the rest of Europe will agree following our charge towards becoming Europa Champions and future Champions League Grand Masters !

Jonathan we have the best countryside, the best coastline and a one team city. Yes we may get paid less than the national average but our house prices are also below national average as well as the cost of living, its all proportionate mate! I’m pleased you southerners think your better off down in that polluted over populated dump while us geordies can breath the fresh clean north east air. As long as you keep thinking your better off than us then we’ll let you keep believing it. Enjoy!

The grim reality is that QPR are going down. We can all sense it. Bye QPR, thanks for the memories. Actually, there weren’t any.

Jonathan. You obviously haven’t spent much time up North. Still believing its full of coal mines and smog. I live in london now and vibrant it is, however, i still can’t work out which country im actually in.. Zero identity. Bit like your name

Jonathan-Never been near Newcastle have you ??
Newcastle is the party capital of Europe you fool, acknowledged as one of the most beautiful architectural cities in this country. Fantastic coastline and countryside, within 30 minutes of the city centre. Two Universities and a brilliant standard of living. Theatres clubs pubs, a night-life you would not believe. A party destination for most of this country and western Europe. Open spaces and air you can actually breathe. You stay down there in your vibrant slum, where you are frightened to step out the front door because you may be stabbed by some feral gang. By variety do you mean the dumping ground for criminal scum from all over the world ??

Grim reality of daily life? Take it you’ve never been up here Jonathan. I don’t recall many riots up here recently, how about you in wonderful London? At least it’s vibrant though eh?
Redknapp took remy from under our noses, then had the cheek to say graham Carr doesn’t scout bad players. Can’t stand the bloke

It’s not just NUFC players Harry talks about it’s every club. Why doesn’t he just shut up and concentrate on QPR?
Jonathan – after a hard day shipbuilding or coal mining us geordies have loads to do for example whippet racing and not wearing a coat

Nothing against QPR at all. Just cannot understand your managers obsession with Newcastle. He had his chance to manage them and refused to take it.

They’ve signed one or two, esp Sissoko at that price that we would have liked. And their fans had the cheek to criticise Remy for signing for us. Alright for the Geordies to be upset, cos they’re a big club; not alright for us-we’re only little QPR. No wonder Redknapp is fed up. Still, its hardly surprising they are such a big club, there’s little else but football to distract the folk up there, from the grim reality of daily life. At least London is a vibrant city, with variety aplenty.

I agree with you, Graham.
He seems more interested in Noocarsel than in his own sad little club.

What is Redknapps issue with NUFC? Can he not just keep his nose out and concentrate his saggy, tax doging face on the plight of his own club?
