Redknapp: Burnley will last the pace
QPR boss Harry Redknapp says he believes Burnley deserve more respect and should be regarded as serious title contenders.
The Clarets are third in the table and have led the Championship for much of the campaign despite not being among the pre-season promotion favourites.
They also lost last term’s top scorer Charlie Austin, who has scored 14 goals for QPR since his move to Loftus Road.
But Redknapp, whose team are second, said: “Burnley look a good team to me. Everybody keeps saying they won’t last the pace but that’s nonsense.
“I don’t see why they won’t last the pace. They look a very good outfit.”
