Real Madrid ‘keen on Ivanovich’

Real Madrid want to sign Branislav Ivanovic from Chelsea, according to the Daily Mirror.

Ivanovic has been in great form for Chelsea this season.

Ivanovic faces a three-match ban after being charged with misconduct by the FA and it is now claimed that Chelsea face a battle to keep him in the summer.

Real are said to be keen to capture the Serbian defender – even if Jose Mourinho quits as boss.

Meanwhile, German media have reported that Wolfsburg want to sign Adel Taarabt from QPR.

It is claimed the Bundesliga club are planning to table a bid for him at the end of the season.

The German magazine Kicker has suggested Rangers want £8.5m for Taarabt, who scored his first Premier League goal in the recent victory over Arsenal.
