Hughes unhappy with Loftus Road pitch

QPR manager Mark Hughes expressed concern about the state of the Loftus Road pitch following his side’s game against Everton.

The surface has looked increasingly poor in recent weeks and caused both teams problems during Saturday’s 1-1 draw.

Hughes said: “The pitch isn’t ideal – it’s not great. We are taking more care because it has deteriorated. Hopefully the Spring will improve it before the end of the season.”
