QPR’s Emmanuel-Thomas expected to complete move

MK Dons are set to complete the signing of Jay Emmanuel-Thomas on loan from QPR.

West London Sport revealed on Monday morning that Emmanuel-Thomas, 25, was wanted by the Championship strugglers, who are now on the verge of completing a deal

The forward has scored five goals this term, three of them coming during an early-season spell when he replaced Charlie Austin.

But he is now very much out of favour at Rangers, who signed him on a Bosman free transfer from Bristol City in the summer and are keen to offload him.

Meanwhile, Rangers have completed the £350,000 signing of Nasser El Khayati, while Rob Green is likely to join Crystal Palace if the Eagles sell former QPR keeper Alex McCarthy to Fulham.
