QPR fans want Holloway to axe his ‘star player’ for Brighton game
QPR fans on Twitter want Tjaronn Chery to be dropped for next week’s game at Brighton.
The Dutch midfielder has four goals and three assists in the Championship this season, but has struggled in recent weeks, with boss Ian Holloway suggesting Chery is feeling the pressure of being Rangers’ “star player”.
But after his indifferent display against Aston Villa, some supporters think Chery needs to be left out for the trip to the Amex on 27 January.
Chery has to be dropped.

Now leave Chery out and work out how to play not based around him. It might work, can't be any worse.

Have to stop this over reliance on Chery too. He's a very good player but he's not the talisman in a way Taarabt or Austin was. #QPR

MISSING: Tjarron Chery. Not seen since last season. Any information welcome.

The one #QPR player getting away with murder is Chery. Instrumental at the start of the season, but has gone missing over the past months…

Taarabt could only play under Warnock. It seems like Chery can only play under JFH #QPR #QPRFC

When will people realise that chery is so over rated

But were the occasional tweets of support for Chery, such as this one…
Don't get the Chery abuse. The guy works his backside off, he tries things. Give the man a break. He's having a stinker but not shying away.
