QPR should take heart from recent performances despite their poor results, first-team coach Marc Bircham has told the club’s website.
Rangers have not won in five matches and are 19th in the Championship table, just five points above the relegation zone.
But Bircham has insisted they should feel confident ahead of Saturday’s away match against Birmingham City.
“Just because things haven’t gone our way, it shouldn’t change how we feel about our performances,” he said.
“We need to go into this game on Saturday with confidence and belief.
“It’s a bit like when we lost six games in a row, and then won three on the trot. We knew then, and we know now, that if we keep putting in the performances, the results will come and our fortunes will change.
“You don’t want to say ‘luck’ because you create your own luck.
“It’s all about us and how we play – and we feel that if we keep playing how we have been, we will turn those performances into results.”
