Mancini disappointed with draw and ‘so sad’ to see Balotelli go
Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini felt his side deserved all three points against QPR.
The home team defended for their lives to secure a 0-0 draw at Loftus Road, where Rangers keeper Julio Cesar produced several important saves.
“We lost two points. But I can’t say nothing, because we played well,” Mancini said.
“We are disappointed. We had chances to win and if you don’t score in these games it’s very difficult. QPR defended well and got men behind the ball.”
Mancini added that he was “so sad” about the imminent departure of Mario Balotelli, who is set to join AC Milan.
“Mario was very important for us. With Mario we won the Premier League. But for him it’s a chance to play for a top club in Italy and be with his family,” he said.
