Twitter reaction: Fernandes pleased after QPR’s draw

Tony Fernandes told fans on Twitter he was hugely encouraged by QPR’s performance at Newcastle.

It has been a troubled season for Rangers but they showed plenty of fighting spirit at St James’ Park, where they went behind in the opening minute.

A last-minute equaliser gave them a deserved point – and co-chairman Fernandes believes things are heading in the right direction.
