Fulham v Norwich City line-ups: Whites signing starts, Bettinelli out, seven Norwich debuts

Slavisa Jokanovic has handed a debut to Oliver Norwood for Fulham’s first Championship game of the season against Norwich.

The loan signing from Brighton’s place in midfield is assured with Kevin McDonald sidelined.

Goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli is ruled out with a hamstring injury picked up in last weekend’s 3-0 pre-season friendly defeat by Wolfsburg, so David Button makes his first league start at Craven Cottage since March.

New arrivals Aboubakar Kamara and Ibrahima Cisse are among the substitutes.

Norwich have seven debutants in their starting line-up – goalkeeper Angus Gunn and midfielder Harrison Reed, on loan from Manchester City and Southampton respectively, are selected alongside Christoph Zimmermann, Marcel Franke, Mario Vrancic, former Whites loanee James Husband and Marley Watkins.

Ivo Pinto and Wes Hoolahan, who have been carrying injuries, are on the bench.

Fulham: Button; Fredericks, Ream, Kalas, Sessegnon; Cairney, Norwood, Johansen; Kebano, Aluko, Ayite.

Norwich City: Gunn; Martin, Franke, Zimmermann; Wildschut, Reed, Vrancic, Maddison; Watkins, Jerome.
