Fulham face tough task

Chelsea host Fulham in the west London derby at the Bridge on Boxing Day and the Blues are strong favourites.

Chelsea are 1/3 with Fulham 9s and the draw at 4/1 (these prices are subject to fluctuation given they have been set ahead of the Premier League midweek fixtures).

Fernando Torres must be given his chance sooner rather than later although it looks as if AVB is waiting until Didier Drogba heads to the Africa Cup of Nations before restoring the Spanish international to the starting XI.

Daniel Sturridge continues to impress although he rarely completes 90 minutes; the England international is 4/1 to score first and 10/11 to net at any time, which is too short despite his excellent recent record given Fulham will try and keep it tight.

Will Neil Warnock be smiling after QPR’s visit to Swansea?

Clint Dempsey did us a favour scoring the opener last week and he is 3/1 to score at any time.

We have updated our market on how many signings Chelsea will make during the January transfer window and bet (loan signings DO count):

0: 5/1

1: 7/4

2: 2/1

3 or more: 3/1

We are also betting on top London club at bet:

Chelsea:  Evs

Spurs:  Evs

Arsenal: 8/1

Fulham: 125/1

QPR:  500/1

QPR travel to the Liberty Stadium to face a Swansea side that have been excellent in front of their home supporters this season.

The Swans don’t concede many and have only lost to Manchester United at home this term, but they still look a bit short at 23/20 with Rangers 12/5 and the draw at 23/10.

City have only conceded two goals at home all season but they have only scored 10 and another goalless draw is 9/1.
