QPR stalwart Clint Hill has defended Karl Henry, who was barracked by fans during the win against MK Dons at the weekend.

The Rangers midfielder was booed along with head coach Chris Ramsey, who has also come under fire from supporters this season.

Asked about the crowd turning on Henry, Hill told ‘Access All R’s’ on the club website: “It’s not great. Let’s not beat around the bush, it’s not nice.

“It’s hard for him. It’s not nice when you’ve got your own fans booing.

“He’s someone who gives everything in every game – he gives 100% and is always there putting a tackle or header in and always puts himself on the line.

“He’s someone I can relate to. I’ve got a lot of time for him.”

Ramsey defended Henry after Saturday’s game, insisting the 32-year-old “does a lot of unseen work” for the team.
