Nottingham Forest v QPR line-ups: Changes for Rangers as keeper makes debut
Goalkeeper Joe Lumey makes his senior debut for QPR in the FA Cup third-round clash at the City Ground, where Rangers have never won.
Lumley, who turns 21 next month, is a product of Rangers’ youth system and has had loan spells at Accrington and Morecambe.
He plays because Alex Smithies, who had been lined up to replace Rob Green, has an elbow problem. Poland Under-18 international keeper Marcin Brzozowski is therefore on the bench.
Meanwhile, Jamie Mackie, back after a hamstring injury, plays against his former club – his first start since the opening day of the season – and, as expected, Ben Gladwin starts after being recalled from his loan spell at Swindon.
There are also starting places for Clint Hill, Massimo Luongo, Michael Doughty and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas.
Nottingham Forest are captained by former QPR striker Dexter Blackstock and Chris Cohen makes his first start in 15 months after returning from injury.
