Victor Moses
The on-loan Chelsea winger could return to Stamford Bridge from Stoke after suffering a thigh injury that will keep him out of action for six to eight weeks. Moses, 23, was taken off during Stoke’s defeat against Burnley on Saturday and scans have shown a tear in his thigh muscle.

Eden Hazard
The Chelsea star is in contention for the PFA fans’ player of the month award for November. Hazard has been nominated alongside Sergio Aguero, David De Gea, Alexis Sanchez, Nathaniel Clyne and Moussa Sissoko.

World XI
Chelsea duo Branislav Ivanovic and Filipe Luis are among 20 defenders shortlisted for the Fifa/Fifpro World XI for 2014. Former Blues centre-back David Luiz is also on the list. The midfielders and forwards will be unveiled over the coming days.

Alex Davey
Chelsea’s 20-year-old defeder has joined Scunthorpe on a short-term emergency loan deal. Davey, who has played for Scotland Under-19s, will be at Glanford Park until 3 January, in what is his first spell away from Stamford Bridge.

Max Ehmer
The QPR defender has signed a one-month loan deal with League One side Gillingham. The 22-year-old will be at Priestfield until 3 January and links up with fellow Rangers youngster Michael Doughty, who is also on loan at the Kent club.

Eoin Morgan
The Middlesex batsman made just one in England’s 25-run defeat to Sri Lanka in the first one-day international in Colombo on Wednesday. His county colleague Steven Finn was ruled out on the morning of the match with a groin injury.

Harlequins
The date for Quins’ LV= Cup third round match with Bath has been confirmed. They will meet at the Stoop on Saturday 31 January, with a 2.40pm kick-off.
