QPR linked with Taylor and reportedly warned by Pulis over Phillips fee

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving QPR, Chelsea and Brentford…

QPR want to sign Ryan Taylor, the Daily Mirror say.

The 30-year-old is a free agent, having recently been released by Newcastle following a string of injury problems.

Rangers have not shown an interest, but it is claimed they are keen on Taylor along with Bournemouth, Nottingham Forest, Hull and Norwich.

Midlands newspaper the Express & Star reports that West Brom have warned QPR they will not pay £10m for Matty Phillips and are ready to look elsewhere.

Fans on Twitter react to QPR rejecting Phillips bid

West London Sport revealed on Sunday that Rangers had rejected a bid from Albion for the 24-year-old winger.

The Express & Star later reported that Albion were moving closer to a deal and believed a compromise could be reached over a fee.

But now it is being reported that Rangers have dug their heels in and that Baggies boss Tony Pulis has told them he will end his interest in Phillips if they refuse to budge.

Meanwhile, Kenedy is set complete a move from Fluminense to Chelsea this week, Brazilian media have reported.

The Mirror say Chelsea were interested in Pedro but that the Spain winger has decided to stay at Barcelona.

And Hull, who have been linked with Andre Gray, reportedly need to offload players before they can move for the Brentford striker.

The Hull Daily Mail say the Tigers are being inhibited by a struggle to sell strikers Nikica Jelavic, Dame N’Doye and Abel Hernandez.
