Chelsea go through in Youth Cup

Chelsea’s Under-18 side showed their promise with a 4-1 victory against Sheffield Wednesday in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup.

They led 2-0 at half-time in the game at Aldershot’s Recreation Ground after goals from Isaiah Brown and Charly Musonda.

Charlie Colkett made it 3-0 from the penalty spot following a foul on Brown, and after the visitors pulled a goal back, Dominic Solanke netted the Blues’ fourth.

The win came a week after Chelsea’s Under-21 side beat West Ham to reach the quarter-finals of the Under-21 Premier League Cup.
