Round-up: Two Chelsea loan deals, QPR man returns, Middlesex on top
Tammy Abraham has signed a new five-year deal with Chelsea but will spend next season on loan at Swansea City.
The 19-year-old completed his temporary move to the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday, as West London Sport reported last month.
He will be managed at the Swans by former Chelsea assistant first-team coach Paul Clement.
Abraham scored 26 times in all competitions while on loan at Bristol City last term, becoming the highest-scoring teenager in Championship history and the Robins’ player of the year.
Palmer signs deal and rejoins Terriers
Kasey Palmer has signed a new contract at Chelsea and rejoined Huddersfield on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old midfielder impressed while on loan with the Yorkshire club last season, helping them win promotion via the play-offs.
He is now set for a chance to show what he can do in the Premier League – and Chelsea have moved to cement his long-term future with the club.
Palmer’s new deal means he is under contract with the Blues until 2021.
Meanwhile, Huddersfield are looking to sign Izzy Brown on a permanent basis.
Brown also impressed while on loan with the Terriers from Chelsea last season.
Malone close to Terriers move
Fulham are close to agreeing a deal to sell Scott Malone to Premier League new boys Huddersfield.
The two clubs are in talks and the Whites are prepared to let the left-back leave.
Terriers boss David Wagner has moved for Malone, 26, having been impressed with him in the Championship last season.
Fulham thrashed Huddersfield home and away and Malone was influential in both games, scoring the opener in a 4-1 away victory and also standing out in a 5-0 win at Craven Cottage.
He scored six goals in 36 Championship appearances in total as Slavisa Jokanovic’s side reached the play-offs.
Fulham confirm Jozabed sale
Fulham have confirmed the sale of Jozabed to Celta Vigo.
The 26-year-old Spaniard was signed from Rayo Vallecano last summer for £3.4m but failed to settle at Craven Cottage.
Cousins returns to action

QPR midfielder Jordan Cousins has returned to action six months after a thigh injury ended his season.
Cousins played the first half of a friendly against non-League Bromley at Rangers’ Harlington training ground – his first outing since January.
Rangers, who fielded a separate XI in each half, won the game 4-0. Conor Washington scored twice and there were also goals for Matt Smith and Idrissa Sylla.
Eskinazi gives Middlesex the edge

Stevie Eskinazi’s career-best 178 not out underpinned a solid day’s work for Middlesex on day two at Edgbaston.
In compiling the fourth first-class century of his career, Eskinazi – who was fortunate not to perish second ball – hit 24 fours and three sixes to put the visitors on the verge of a first-innings lead.
They closed 32 runs behind, with four first-wickets in hand, in a match bottom-of-the-table Warwickshire badly need to win.
Eskinazi had only bit-part support, with Dawid Malan (39) and Nick Compton (33) the next-best scores.
Earlier in the day, Tim Murtagh’s brilliant return catch to dismiss Keith Barker (49) triggered the loss of the last three wickets for four runs in 25 balls.
