Championship clubs linked with striker Hawkins

Ealing-born striker Oliver Hawkins has been linked with a move to the Championship from National League side Dagenham & Redbridge.

The Evening Standard suggests Brighton, Nottingham Forest and Ipswich are all interested in the 24-year-old west Londoner.

Hawkins has scored 16 goals in 28 appearances for Dagenham this season, having joined from Hemel Hempstead Town.

He spent several seasons playing for local non-League clubs, beginning his career as a 17-year-old at North Greenford United.

He then had spells at Hillingdon Borough and Northwood prior to signing for Hemel Hempstead.

Hawkins averages a goal every 139 minutes this season and is third in the National League scoring charts.
