Exeter v Brentford line-ups: Eight changes for Bees, two make debuts, 15-year-old in Exeter side

Brentford have made rung the changes for their EFL Cup tie at Exeter City.

Dean Smith has made eight alterations from the team that started the Championship defeat at Huddersfield, with Jan Holldack handed a debut at right-back and 19-year-old Tom Field his first start at left-back.

Former Middlesbrough midfielder Emmanuel Ledesma is also given a competitive debut after signing on non-contract forms earlier on Tuesday.

There are also starts for Nico Yennaris, Alan Mcormack, Sam Saunders and Philipp Hofmann, while Danish striker Justin Shaibu – signed in the summer – is on the bench.

Exeter have named a 15-year-old in their defence – Ethan Ampadu, son of former Leyton Orient man Kwame, will become the Grecians’ youngest-ever player.
