Everton v Chelsea line-ups: Hazard out, Costa fit, Everton trio play

Eden Hazard has been left out of Chelsea’s squad for their FA Cup quarter-final at Everton, but Diego Costa does start.

Both players came off with hip complaints during the Champions League defeat by Paris St-Germain on Wednesday, and only Costa has been passed fit.

Nemanja Matic comes in for Hazard in the only Blues change, with Cesc Fabregas playing in a more advanced role.

Blues skipper John Terry is on the bench, but Alexandre Pato – who travelled to Goodison Park – is not in the squad.

Everton make three changes to the side which lost to West Ham last weekend, including reverting to 4-2-3-1 from a back three.

Leighton Baines is fit again after an ankle injury and replaces Bryan Oviedo, who has a chest infection.

Tom Cleverley and Gareth Barry have shaken off viruses and return to the side, while Aaron Lennon passed a fitness test on a hamstring injury.
