Chelsea prospect finds the net again

Chelsea’s reserves were well beaten on Monday afternoon – but youngster Patrick Bamford still managed to score again.

A young Blues side lost 4-1 at Cobham against Manchester United, who were three up at the interval and grabbed a fourth early in the second half.

Bamford – a January signing from Nottingham Forest – maintained his impressive scoring run by firing home from the edge of the penalty area with four minutes to go.

It was the 18-year-old striker’s fifth goal in seven reserve-team matches.
