Chelsea players ‘up for sale’

Didier Drogba, Jose Bosingwa, Salomon Kalou and Paulo Ferreira  have reportedly been put up for sale by Chelsea.

The Daily Mail reports that all four have been made available along with Nicolas Anelka and Brazilian defender Alex, whose transfer requests have been accepted by the club.

Juventus are understood to still be keen to sign Alex, while Arsenal remain interested in Kalou.

The Mail also say Fulham’s players have been ‘gagged’ by the club in an attempt to curb tales of dressing-room unrest at Craven Cottage.

The Sun suggests Whites boss Martin Jol is facing more discontent from his players, with a Fulham insider quoted as saying: “It seems to some players as if Jol is not happy with anything they do.”

Meanwhile, Partizan Belgrade prospect Lazar Markovic, 17, has been linked with a number of top clubs but has told The Sun he wants to join Chelsea.

“Chelsea is the place I want to play. I had all the pictures of the team on my wall at home back to when they had Gianfranco Zola,” he said.

“Any time they are on TV I try to watch them. For me Chelsea are the best.”
