Blues assess Torres ahead of Bolton game

Chelsea were this morning assessing the condition of striker Fernando Torres, who missed training yesterday because of illness.

The Spaniard is expected to be passed fit to join the Blues squad for Saturday’s match against Bolton.

Torres is likely to be among the substitutes at Stamford Bridge, where Chelsea will be looking for their first win in six games.
