Chelsea agree signing of Guro Reiten from LSK Kvinner

Chelsea Ladies have signed an agreement with the LSK Kvirnner for a transfer of Guro Reiten, the current forward of the team. The transfer will be made official on July 15th of 2019.

About Guro Reiten

Reiten is quite a versatile player that could take on a whole slew of positions on the field. She has mentioned and confirmed that being a forward as well as a striker is in her repertoire, but the official position for Chelsea is a bit vague, but it’s most likely that she will be put as a forward.

The player has already proven herself that she’s a capable player by competing exceptionally well in the Women’s World Cup, where she played for her home country, Norway.

However, that was definitely not the first time she had performed under the Norwegian flag as she’s been in the spotlight ever since she first appeared in the under-15s clubs. Soon enough she proved herself to be the top scorer in the league by finishing every season with gusto. She is also the Toppseiren’s player of the year.

Guro Reiten has already commented on her transfer, saying that she is welcoming the challenge with open arms and is hoping to be a great asset for her new team. She also hopes to gain much more experience and better herself with such a transfer and involvement in much more serious cups in the future.

What about the month of June?

Before the transfer is made official, Reiten will focus on her career in the Norwegian national team in order to support it in the World Cup, after which she will be transferred over to the direct supervision of Emma Hayes, the Chelsea Women football club’s manager. Hayes has already mentioned that getting Reiten was a great decision as she has shown creativity and flexibility in her play styles.

Websites are tinkering with the odds

When it comes to Norwegian online betting websites, they’ve been very active with this development. Many have already lowered the odds of Norway’s performance in the upcoming World Cup on June 8th, as Reiten is expected to give 110% on her performance in order to reinforce the relevancy of her transfer to Chelsea.

Although most sportsbooks don’t pay too much attention to the women’s league this year has been quite different. With so many transfers happening nearly every week, every spectator’s attention has been diverted to the new cup as other championships are being prepared for the Summer.

When it comes to Reiten though, she already has a guarantee that her transfer is cemented into reality, regardless of her performance on the World Cup, but still, the psychology of the player has definitely been improved, which has been proven to directly affect performance in both physical and mental aspects.
