Can Chelsea win the Premier League this season?

Chelsea haven’t won the Premier League since 2016/17 under the management of Antonio Conte and since then Chelsea have seen wholesale changes and looks like a totally different club. This has mainly been done under the management of club legend Frank Lampard with his having to deal with a transfer ban in his first season, however this year with a £200 million transfer budget, they have spent heavily and is now the time for them to get back into the big time – below we discuss.

Lampard has been able to bring in some serious star quality this year to enable his side to challenge against the big players in the division including Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva and Edouard Mendy who have not just added to the squad but created a spine in the team that Frank can now use his existing squad to really feel like challengers again.

With it now being the international break, we are going to have to wait for the next round of fixtures in the Premier League to be able to have a sports bet on. Due to this, industry experts have seen a trend of football punter migrating onto online casinos such as these USA casino sites for UK Players. There is no surprise as to why this trend as happened and even with the re-introduction of the Premier League in a couple weeks, this trend isn’t due to slow down.

However, when the season start this year, many of these were injured and many coming from foreign leagues and needed time to adjust to the Premier League physicality and at first Chelsea looked like a side that needed time to gel. Although, this time has been shorter than expected with as the team now looks as if it is firing on all cylinders with the star quality really starting to come through.

Due to all of these reasons, Chelsea fans are now starting to believe that their time to get back amongst the big time is this season and if Frank can keep this squad injury free then we can’t see why that cannot happen. Although with the success that Chelsea have seen over the years, it won’t just be the Premier League that they are targeting but also European cups like the Champions League which Frank Lampard knows very well.
