Brentford v Fulham line-ups: Hogan starts, teenager makes debut, Dembele dropped

Hogan has scored three goals in two substitute appearances

Striker Scott Hogan and teenager Tom Field make their first starts for Brentford in the west London derby against Fulham, for whom Moussa Dembele is only on the bench.

Field, 19, starts at left-back with Jake Bidwell out injured, while Maxime Colin replaces Josh Clarke on the other flank.

Hogan, who had been restricted to five substitute appearances since returning from a serious knee injury, finally starts a game for the Bees almost two years after joining.

Sam Saunders and Konstantin Kerschbaumer come into midfield, with Alan McCormack and John Swift making way.

Fulham make four changes from the side that lost to Nottingham Forest last weekend, with Ashley Richards and Richard Stearman slotting into the back four.

Ryan Tunnicliffe is in for Emerson Hyndman, while Dembele’s absence from the starting line-up allows boss Slavisa Jokanovic to strengthen midfield with Lasse Vigen Christensen.
