Birmingham v Brentford line-ups: Liverpool man returns, Jota out, Blues trio injured
Liverpool loanee Sergi Canos returns to the Brentford starting line-up after his outstanding winner at Reading on Monday.
Josh McEachran is the man to miss out, in the only change Bees head coach Dean Smith has made for the trip to Birmingham.
The former Chelsea man is among the substitutes, alongside Philipp Hofmann and Andy Gogia, who could make his first appearance since October.
Jota, however, is not included in the squad.
Birmingham are unchanged from the side that beat MK Dons 1-0 on Monday, which means former Brentford players Clayton Donaldson and Jon Toral line up against their old club.
Midfielder Koby Arthur, defender Neal Eardley and winger David Cotterill all miss out with injuries, while Demarai Gray is absent as he is in talks over a move to Premier League Leicester City.
Birmingham City: Kuszczak; Caddis, Morrison, Robinson, Grounds; Gleeson, Kieftenbeld; Solomon-Otabor, Toral, Maghoma; Donaldson.
Subs: Legzdins, Spector, Lowry, Shinnie, Davis, Vaughan, Brock-Madsen.
Brentford: Button; Colin, Dean, Tarkowski, Bidwell; Diagouraga, Woods; Canos, Judge, Swift; Vibe.
Subs: Bonham, Yennaris, O’Connell, McEachran, Saunders, Gogia, Hofmann.
