Benitez angry after semi-final defeat
Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez insisted two incorrect decisions by referee Chris Foy had cost his side in their FA Cup semi-final defeat against Manchester City.
The Blues, beaten 2-1 at Wembley, felt they should have been awarded a late penalty after City’s Vincent Kompany tugged Fernando Torres’ shirt.
And striker Sergio Aguero seemed fortunate not to be sent off after appearing to stamp on Chelsea defender David Luiz.
Benitez told ITV: “The penalty decision was crucial. It was very clear. You can see the pictures.”
Asked about the Aguero incident, he added: “See the video. I will not talk about another player.”
City boss Roberto Mancini, meanwhile, dismissed suggestions that Aguero was lucky to stay on the field.
The Italian said: “I don’t think [it was a stamp.] It was a tackle but Sergio is a good guy.”
More reaction to follow later.

What a stupid referee chris foy. He made the way for city to Co̶̲̥̅̊me through as he refused to award chelsea 2clean and clear penalty ( Mata was fouled and torres also while sergio was speared for his bad lounge against luiz ). ¶ CA̷̷̴Ŋ’tsee No̶̲̥̅̊ reason while the FA W̶̲̥̅̊ȋ̊ƪƪ Ω̴̩̩̩̥☺†̥̥ adjust to the decision over refrees Ąπ∂ players.
