Ba: Decision to swap Newcastle for Chelsea was ‘very easy’
Demba Ba has told Chelsea’s website the opportunity to join the club was too good for him to turn down.
The Blues have formally completed Ba’s signing from Newcastle after activating a release clause in his Magpies contract.
And Ba said: “When the club who won the Champions League wants you, the decision making is very easy.
“This club is massive and that’s something that helped the decision a lot. It was not a hard one.
“I remember the last game we [Newcastle] played [against Chelsea]. It was tough. They dominated the whole game against us and we lost 2-0 at Stamford Bridge.
“When you see a team coming to Newcastle and winning 3-0 like they did last season, you know it will be hard to face teams like that.
“Now I am on the other side I will be happy to do the same to the other teams.”
The former West Ham striker added: “I am also happy to be back in London. It means everything to be here.”

Proven goalscorer, but a mercenary who’ll gravitate to the highest bidder.
It’ll be interesting to see if the clause is still in, or whether chelsky had the sense to remove it.

Totally agree. Once Harry reveals the release clause he will be looking to move to PSG

No loyalty but good player. Has pack of “advisors” who spend their time trying to fix the next move.

The guy is a mercenary.
Says all the right things, appears humble but he’s as fake as they come.
Leaves a long list of clubs behind him where he kissed the badge.
