Olympic silver medallist Ollie leaves Quins

Olympic silver medallist Ollie Lindsay-Hague is leaving Harlequins after seven years with the club.

Lindsay-Hague, 25, was part of the Team GB rugby sevens squad that reached the final in Rio this month.

He made his senior debut for Quins against Newcastle Falcons in 2009, and went on to make 61 appearances for the club, scoring ten tries.

Lindsay-Hague said: “Harlequins has been a huge part of my life and I’m sad that my time with the club has come to an end.

“Having returned from the Rio Olympics, I’m going to take some time to think about the next step in my career and see where things take me.

“I’d like to thank everyone associated with Harlequins for their support over the years and I wish them the best of luck in the 150th season.”

Harlequins have confirmed that Lindsay-Hague will return to The Stoop one last time to celebrate his silver medal, with a date to be arranged.
