Harlequins sign England full-back Furbank
Harlequins have signed England full-back George Furbank from fellow Prem club Northampton Saints.
The 29-year-old will move to the Twickenham Stoop at the end of the season.
He has 14 international caps and has been at Northampton for a decade. He helped Saints win the title in 2024.
“George is someone we’ve admired for a long time – a player who is composed under pressure, instinctive in broken play, and brings a natural attacking flair that aligns perfectly with how we want to play,” Quins head coach Jason Gilmore said.
“George also has a strong ambition to return to the Test arena with England heading into a World Cup year, and we’re really looking forward to seeing the impact he’ll make here at The Stoop.”
Meanwhile, fly-half Jamie Benson will leave Harlequins at the end of the season and join Ulster Rugby.
