Harlequins bring in ex-Ealing man Grant

Harlequins have signed former Ealing Trailfinders scrum-half Jack Grant from Super Rugby Pacific outfit New South Wales Waratahs.

The 32-year-old has signed a contract at The Stoop until the end of the season.

Quins senior coach Jason Gilmore said: “We’re pleased to welcome Jack into the group for the remainder of the season.

“With Will Porter sidelined for an extended period as he rehabilitates from a shoulder dislocation, and Lucas Friday away with England Under-20s, it’s important we have depth in a critical position.

“Jack is an experienced nine who will give us greater options and help share the workload across our scrum-halves during a busy run of fixtures.”
