Delgado signs new Harlequins contract

Argentina prop Pedro Delgado has signed a new contract with Harlequins.

The 28-year-old tighthead has played 12 times since being signed by Quins in October.

“Pedro is a powerful operator who has made a strong start to life here at Harlequins,” senior coach Jason Gilmore said.

“He works hard at the set-piece to give us a solid platform to play from and continues to develop his scrummaging through close work with [scrum coach] Adam Jones.

“Pedro also has the ability to make an impact in the loose on both sides of the ball, which is essential for a top-level tighthead.

“Pedro is a great person and a popular figure within the squad, and we’re delighted he has committed his future to the club.”
