Brown signs new Harlequins deal

Full-back Mike Brown has extended his Harlequins contract until 2014.

Brown, who has three England caps, was Quins’ player of the year last season and has made over 150 appearances for the club, scoring 50 tries.

“Mike embodies everything a professional rugby player should be and everything we want of a player here,” said Quins director of rugby Conor O’Shea.

“We are delighted Mike has committed himself to the club for effectively the next three seasons and look forward to helping him achieve his goals, both with Harlequins and England.”

Brown added: “I am excited to have re-signed to a club that I am so enjoying being a part of.

“Having Conor O’Shea has been great for the club and I believe he can improve my game even more, and hopefully I can look to achieve more international honours in the future.”
