Grego-Cox given one-year QPR contract

QPR have given Reece Grego-Cox a new one-year contract.

The 20-year-old forward, a product of Rangers’ youth system, is now under contract at Loftus Road until 2018.[phone][/phone]

He spent time on loan at Newport County last season, after which he scored five goals in as many QPR Under-23 matches and came on as a substitute for the first team against Norwich on the final day of the campaign.

Grego-Cox’s outing at Carrow Road was his sixth senior appearance for the R’s.

He made his debut in a Premier League match against Tottenham in 2015.
