Pawel Wszolek has told Polish sports newspaper Przeglad Sportowy he believes he will be offered a new contract by QPR.
The Poland international’s current deal is due to expire this summer, meaning he is now free to hold talks with other clubs.
But Wszolek said he has no plans to do so – and suggested he is happy at Loftus Road having regained his place under Rangers boss Steve McClaren.
In the interview, Wszolek described McClaren as the best manager he has played under and admitted he was frustrated under former boss Ian Holloway.
And he said: “If I continue to play well, the club will definitely offer me a new contract. I am not afraid of what will happen to me.
“I have something to gain here. I feel stable and this is the most important thing.
“Any talks about the contract will probably start in February or at the beginning of March.”
