Woe for QPR as Austin faces long spell out

QPR say striker Charlie Austin faces a prolonged spell on the sidelines with the shoulder injury he suffered in the 2-1 win against Bolton.

The news is a blow for Rangers, who have been heavily reliant on their 15-goal top scorer this season.

After receiving lengthy treatment, Austin played on after picking up the injury and scored the opening goal, but had to be substituted in the second half.

Austin, signed from Burnley last summer, will now begin a period of rehabilitation.
