Watford to sign keeper as 12 youngsters leave QPR


Watford are to sign teenage goalkeeper Harvey White from QPR.

White, 18, has been on trial with the Premier League club. He was two years into a three-year scholarship at Rangers and is among 12 youngsters leaving.

The others include Chay Tilt, who was signed from West Brom in 2017, and defender Ali Omar, who was tracked by a number of clubs before joining the R’s last summer after rejecting a new contract at Stevenage.

Right-back Joe Felix, signed last year after being released by Fulham, is also leaving.

The others being released are Myles Bowman, Caden Genovesi, Kraig Noel-McLeod, Mickel Platt, Aiden Mesias, Khaliq Raymond-Callender, Marcus Brooks and Charlie Fox.

  • ..........and there was I thinking these are our future. The mind boggles, especially as we still dont have a manager yet. Never mind, the next level beckons.
